On Friday, May 25, 2002, Amira
Mor and the Jewels of the Nile performed for a Japanese Business Convention
at New York's City Metropolitan Museum of Art. Mayor Bloomberg
spoke to an audience of over 1000 people at the exquisite Egyptian Temple
of Dendur. The temple, given as a gift from Egypt to the United
States, was built in the first century AD.
